Liam has chosen to utilize his passion to benefit a cause close to his heart, childhood cancer research. Each year, over 200,000 children are diagnosed with some form of cancer. He has been fundraising for cancer research since he lost his mother, Samm, to lymphoma when he was just 3 years old. Since he began racing, each year he selects a child fighting cancer and places their name on his helmet to help raise awareness throughout the racing season. He then donates his retired helmet to their family at the end of the season.

This season, another goal of Liam's has come to fruition. We have been able to develop a sponsor-a-lap program in partnership with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Liam's races are 10 & 12 lap races, and donors can opt to pledge $5, $10, $25, or $50 a lap in his name. To pledge as a sponsor, send us a message with the amount you would like to pledge by clicking the chat link to the bottom right of the page. At the end of the race you have pledged to sponsor, click the link below or visit https://fundraising.stjude.org/liam18 and select the "Make a Gift!" option to donate the pledged amount. See our schedule for race details.

We would like to thank anyone who chooses to pledge as a sponsor for the program. There are truly no words to describe how important childhood cancer research is to Liam and to the team as a whole.
