Welcome to Liam Anderson Racing, where passion meets purpose. Based in Elkton, Maryland, we’re a family-run motorsports team with a heart for competition - and an even bigger heart for kids. Liam Anderson, now 13, races the #18 RTS 270 micro-sprint chassis with his dad, grandfather and his newly hired ASE technician Curtis Gregory as his pit crew. Included in the garage are 2 Coyote Zenith Race Karts, an RTS 270cc micro sprint, and a Pontiac Trans Am. What started as a way for Liam to cope with the grief of losing his mother - by immersing himself in NASCAR - has grown into a mission: to race for kids fighting cancer and use motorsports as a platform for therapy and hope.

Every Helmet Has a Hero

At Liam Anderson Motorsports every season is dedicated to a child battling cancer. Liam races with that child’s name on his helmet, sharing their story and spirit through our Sponsor-a-Lap campaign, race-day announcements, and social media.

It’s a simple but powerful way to honor courage and keep our mission in focus. Whether it’s through donations, laps, or simply showing up to cheer, you can be part of a team that races for more than the checkered flag.

Big Hearts. Young Racers.
Real Impact.

Kids Helping Kids is our youth-powered support program, created from Liam’s passion to give other kids an outlet to learn and grow. Focused on STEM skills and practical training, this initiative gives young participants a chance to be part of the action - whether they’re helping maintain the race cars , assisting with timing,  strategy, media, and photography or racing alongside Liam.

It’s hands-on learning in a supported, team-driven environment where curiosity is encouraged, effort is celebrated, and every kid gains the confidence to try something new.
